    Thalli smooth, erect, greenish yellow in colour. Thalli stupose from the base, with a length of 3-6 cm; thalli irregularly dichotomous branched; branches 5-14 mm length and 0.8-2 mm width with evident sinuses. Apices of the branches rounded, 0.1-0.5 mm in width. Angle between the branches ranges from 15-45 ̊. Cross section shows unilayered medullary cells with a length of 90-175 µm and a width of 30-70 µm. Antheridia and Oogonia occur in sori. Oogonia club shaped 30-50 in number. Mature oogonia measures 65-75 µm in broad and 80-100 µm height. Antheridia and sporangia are not observed in this specimen.
