Trachelomonas planctonica Svirenko, 1914

    Lorica suspherical to oblong, strongly punctate surface or somewhat rugose or granulate; lorica 19–25 µm long and 17–22 µm broad; membrane thick and dark yellowish brown. Apical pore surrounded by robust, cylindrical or conical collar with irregularly dentate margin, collar 3–4.6 µm long and 2.5–4 µm broad.
