Cells elongated, ovoid, slightly asymmetrical with broad middle region, both ends narrowed; cells 33-39 µm long and 22-26 µm broad. Apical furrow extended up to the middle or slightly shorter; apical lips equal or uneven and posterior end with a short and stout tail and slightly bent. Paramylum body discs to ring like and two in number.
