Cells rounded with slightly narrower anterior end and the posterior end slightly broad with short a tail, slightly curved towards one side. Cells 17-26 µm long and 16-24 µm broad, tail 2-7 µm. Pellicle shows longitudinal striation; plastids discoid and numerous. Paramylum body lateral, two discs or rings of unequal size.
