    Cells 2 to 3-cornered, angles extended out and ending in a long spine. Cells in lateral views more or less acicular. Cells margin wavy, two angled cells 7-12 μm in broad. Three angled cells 23-32 μm in diameter without spines; spines 7-11in μm long.


Ecology

Freshwater free floating alga occurs in Lake and Ponds.
