    Colony consists of 4-8 cells arranged in a linear row by contacting at the polar region with intercellular perforation or spaces between cells. Cells long, cylindrical to ellipsoidal cylindrical or spool shaped with rounded apex. Cells covers with granules and cells measure 24-37 μm long and 8-13 μm broad. The marginal cells show long spine at the apex and straight or slightly curved. The marginal cells with straight or slightly convex outer sides.
